Searching for Issues and Solutions with BMC FootPrints Service Core Mobile

Selecting the Search link from a mobile device using BMC FootPrints Mobile displays the search page. You can search Issues or solutions. The Workspace Home, Search, Change Workspace, Create Issue, Select Contact, and Logout links all display at the bottom of the page.

To use the Mobile Search facility:

  1. Search on Keyword or Title by choosing the corresponding radio button, or enter a number without selecting a radio button to search by issue number.  To search for multiple Issue numbers, enter the numbers separated by commas, e.g., 5,22,165 .
  2. For Keyword or Title, enter the word or phrase that you want to find.
  3. To limit the search to just solutions, click the Solutions checkbox.
  4. Click the Search button.

If only a single Issue matches your search criteria, the Details page for that Issue displays. If more than one issue matches your search criteria, a list of all Issues that match your search criteria displays.
